The Stopfor A advanced rope grab, is specially designed to be incorporated in a fall arrest or travel restraint system where the worker's mobility and fall protection is required. The Stopfor A is an automatic rope grab designed to move easily for adjustment along a Tractel recommended synthetic lifeline. In the event of a fall, the cam lever will lock onto the lifeline, restraining or arresting the fall.

Unique and innovate in its design, the advanced rope grab from Tractel features two independent triggering systems that provide a quicker activation of the braking mechanism. in the event of a fall, a speed activated centrifugal roller will force the cam to engage on the rope, safely and quickly arresting the fall. This new innovative breaking mechanism also ensures that the Stopfor A will engage on the lifeline even if the cam is released or held beyond its non-engaged position.
