The Ansell HyFlex 11-624 work glove, large, size 9, helps protect hands from cuts and abrasions, is knit from Dyneema fiber for strength and durability, and has a black polyurethane coating on the palm and fingers for dexterity and to resist wear. Dyneema fiber, also known as UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) fiber, offers greater cut protection than leather, greater abrasion resistance than aramid fibers, and greater strength than steel. The glove has an elasticized wrist cuff to help hold it in place on the hand and a variable knit stitch design for a barehanded feeling and breathability. The cuff has a rolled edge to help prevent chafing. This glove can be laundered with minimal shrinkage and without affecting its cut resistance. It meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Level 2 standards for cut resistance and ANSI Level 5 standards for abrasion resistance.
